Great Day!!!

A great honor to be part of this class wherein my mind will be open up and able to grasp things that lingers in my mind. We gain more knowledge and understanding why we should study church history and for some reasons I learned how God's plan of redemption has been worked out from time of the end of the first century until today. Also, to see how God protected and preserved His people to the present day. It demonstrates the truth of Christianity and in order for us to understand where were going and where we came from. Moreover, even if we don't have all the facts but we are called to trust. The following are the Christian view of History; there was a beginning and final end to history, there is a plan to history, the Bible is the intimately connected to the history, God the Son came into our history at exactly the right and Jesus is the center of history. These are some Christian view of history.
In a sense, we study church history for four reasons: because the church is our family, because church history allows us to learn from our mistakes, because Christians from different time periods and time zones give us needed perspective, and because the study of the church’s rootedness in Christ goads us on to faithfulness in the midst of changing cultures.
I learn that History is His story just as much as it is ours. Therefore we have an opportunity through the study of church history to see how God protected and preserved his people to the present day so as to bring about the sure accomplishment of his redemptive purposes in Jesus Christ. Correspondingly, everyday is a great day because He lives!
